A rematch of last year's softball small school championship game came out with a different result this year. Tioga defeated Union Springs 5-4 to win the championship. Tioga took an early lead, but Union Springs battled back to tie it at 4-4 in the top of the 7th inning. Tioga came through in the bollom half of the inning to take the title.
